Our Company
We currently service clients across Ireland, UK and USA providing bespoke design and production services to waste management, construction and food processing companies. Our facility encompasses CAD design, specialist plasma cutting equipment and painting units. We manufacture to meet all CHEM standards.
Our product range now includes waste compactors – both static and portable units – as well as a wide range of containers and skips. After four decades of business it’s clear that if you are in the recycling business, you’ve probably used a Numac waste container.
As a family business, we understand the need to deliver the best value for money to our customers whilst ensuring our operational practices are of the highest quality.
Located in Mayobridge (just outside Newry) in County Down, Ireland, we are ideally connected to the Irish motorway network and can deliver anywhere on the island in 3-4 hours. Likewise, with access to both Dublin and Belfast ports we can deliver to anywhere else in the UK within 24 hours.

Our Journey
The first generation of Maguire brothers – Jim and Malachy – set up shop and commence their first welding business, refurbishing lorry bodies and producing skips for the local waste business.
The company open a new fabrication plant in Newry with an adjoining dedicated painting / finishing facility. Numac design and manufacture its first waste compactor and deliver it to their client.
A new generation of the Maguire family join the company, and Johnny and James take on the helm of Numac. The company invests in new production and design capability, adding a range of waste compactors and containers to their product portfolio.
The business sets out new plans to expand to a second premises and starts to export to Britain and USA. With a range of portable and static waste compactors, containers and skips, the business continues to grow.
