In a landmark deal, Numac shipped their first order to the USA. The 10 waste units, fully designed and manufactured in-house, are now in place operating as part of a major construction project in downtown Manhattan.
“It was great to get the opportunity to showcase our expertise and ability to manufacture and ship within very tight deadlines.” Johnny Maguire, Director. “The customer had a very exact specification and a unique use for the units, and from the first enquiry to being used in New York, it took less than a month to complete, which included the shipping by container across the Atlantic.”
“This order came at a pivotal time for our business, as we move on with plans to construct a second facility in Mayobridge. We have a clear target to be up and running there by the end of the year, with likely staff additions to our welding and design teams.” added fellow director, James Maguire.
With over 30 years of operation behind them, Numac are well known for steel fabrication in the waste management industry. With a growing range of compactors and RoRo containers, the firm is also well geared for increasing levels of bespoke design work.
